Stronger balance. Easier breath. Good company.
Harmony is a community movement studio for tai chi, qi gong, yoga, mobility, and sound. It's a bright, quiet room where beginners are expected and a chair is always an option. We're building it now.
What Harmony is
Not just a yoga studio.
Yoga's part of it. So are tai chi, qi gong, mobility, sound, workshops, and whatever the neighborhood asks for next. The idea underneath all of it is harmony, in four places:
In your body
Steadier balance, easier joints, more room to breathe.
Between body and mind
Slow practices that give your nervous system a break.
Between people
Classes where you learn names, not just poses.
In the neighborhood
Priced and built for the people who live nearby.
What you'll find
A little of everything, all of it gentle on the way in.
Slow weight-shifting for the balance you use every day.
Simple movements with the breath. Easy to take home.
Strength and stretch, with props and plenty of options.
Hips, shoulders, ankles, and practical fall prevention.
Short, seated practices for settling down.
Lie down, get a blanket, let the room do the work.
Deeper dives, guest teachers, and new things to try.
Low-key gatherings to meet the people you move with.
The full schedule and pricing will be posted before we open. People on the list see them first.
Built for access
Everyone gets in. That's the plan from day one.
Step-free
Sidewalk to mat with no stairs, and an accessible restroom.
A chair in every class
Every class can be taken seated. That's how they're designed, not an add-on.
Sliding-scale pricing
A single price point means somebody's always priced out. So there'll be three.
Beginners expected
Never been to a studio? Good. That's who we're planning for.
The space
Shoes off. Through the arch.
Big front windows and a lot of daylight. Cubbies by the door for shoes and bags. A textured wall with plants spilling over the top, and an open archway into the studio instead of a door. It's under construction now, and people on the list will get the progress photos.
Teach or host here
Running a workshop, a sound bath, or a small class of your own? The room will be available to rent. Tell us what you have in mind.
